It is unusually warm this spring. In many ways I have gratitude for this weather — flowers coming up out of the ground and trees starting to bud. But for allergy sufferers, it means that allergies have started early as well.
Between last week and this week I have had 4 migraines — because of allergies, I think. You might think that this post would be a sad tale about how hard that has been but it is about something else…
Though I have not enjoyed the migraines, I have noticed that when I don’t have one, my head feels amazing. I can: think clearly; be in the sun without pain; joke around; and read the computer screen clearly. Pretty much everything is better!
So today, I express gratitude for those migraines — that help me remember just how wonderful it is to not have one!
When you are in the midst of a challenge, remember that it will not always be that way. And when you have improvement, REJOICE! and be grateful! Gratitude does not change anything about our circumstances but it changes everything about how we look at them.
Sending you peace, joy and hope!
